FEBRUARY 2007
Well, winter weather has returned in full force with snow and cold temperatures. Some days we are excited when the temperature reaches double digits -- what a heat wave!
The Iowa Beef Expo went well, despite a winter storm. We thank the buyers of Long Boy 5S and Long Boy 69S.
We have begun calving and luckily for Sarah who was on "watch", the first heifer waited to calve until William returned home from Expo! During this busy time of year, we are still excited and in awe of the miracle of life -- watching newborn calves master gangling legs and then later running in the pasture.
We continue to evaluate the peformance, growth, disposition and soundness of the breeding stock we have selected to offer for sale or to use ourselves. If you are looking for bulls or females, check out the data posted on our website or contact us. Everything is sold private treaty on a first come, first served basis, so it is to your advantage to look early.
We thank the patrons that braved the cold, windy day to attend our 2007 Spring Preview and Patron Appreciation. We truly enjoy the opportunity to show our cattle and to visit with our patrons.
Thanks for your interest in our cattle and we welcome your inquiries and visits.
