DECEMBER 2007
We began to wonder if winter was going to arrive, but there is no doubt in our minds that it has arrived! We are in a weather pattern of ice or snow on weekends, recovering from the storm during the week, just in time to prepare for the next one. A major ice storm hit our area last weekend. Many in the area were without electricity for nearly a week. We certainly appreciate electricity and the luxuries it provides! Here's just a glimpse of the ice accumulation (close to 3/4") that left broken tree limbs, power lines and power poles!

We enjoyed attending the sales and open houses of Limousin breeders this fall as well as the Iowa Limousin Association's Annual Meeting and Banquet. Limousin cattle, food and fellowship... what a great combination!
We welcome you to attend our 2008 Spring Preview and Patron Appreciation on January 26, 2008 here at the farm. It is an opportunity for you to look at cattle and enjoy Sarah’s cooking, but more importantly, it’s a chance for us to extend hospitality and fellowship to our patrons and fellow cattle producers. We will have the following on display: yearling bulls, bred heifers, show prospects, and our Iowa Beef Expo consignments.
Keep checking our website for updates on our consignments to the 2008 Iowa Beef Expo in February.
If you are looking for bulls or females, check out the data posted on our website or contact us. All animals are sold private treaty. We have begun bull sales already, so if you are in the market to purchase a bull, we encourage you to start looking early while our selection is the largest.
Thanks for your interest in our cattle and we welcome your inquiries and visits. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
William and Sarah
